Biscuit is a custom specialty finish studio founded by Turner Cain and Billy Hilsee.

Biscuit provides an array of fine plaster finishes available for residential and commercial spaces. All work is completed by hand and on-site by a select team of skilled and experienced artisans. By working with small teams of expert craftsmen we can ensure consistent quality on every level of detail.

 Turner and Billy met at Pratt Institute and graduated with studies in Interior Design, Graphic Design, and Fine Arts collectively. Following education both pursued work in fields pertinent to the practice of the interior decorative arts. In New York, prior to the formation of Biscuit, Turner spent several years as an applicator at a decorative plastering company while Billy served as a fabricator and on-site installer to an architectural fabrication firm.

Biscuit’s studio is based out of Westchester County. We serve the surrounding area as well as NYC. We frequently travel for our clients - please inquire with us about our travel policies if you are planning a job outside of our home area.
